General Terms
- Service Scope: These terms apply when you engage us, Sparkle Window Cleaning QLD, for window cleaning services. Our services may include providing products as needed.

- Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms as necessary, and any changes become effective once communicated to you.
Service Engagement
- Expertise Assurance: We assure you of our professional skills and commitment to deliver quality service.
- Service Limitations: We do not include treatments like hard water stain removal unless specifically quoted.
- Qualified Team: Our team and any subcontractors are fully qualified and licensed (where required) to provide exceptional services.
- Unforeseen Circumstances: If unexpected events delay our service, we will inform you and provide a new timeline for completion.
- Equipment and Materials: We use high-quality, safe equipment and materials necessary for efficient service delivery.
- Service Changes: If you request changes to the service, we will provide a new quote, and these changes will be performed only upon your acceptance.
Acceptance and Responsibilities
- Acceptance of Terms: Your request for us to start services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
- Terms Modification: Once accepted, these terms can only be amended with our written consent.
- Joint Liability: All customers are jointly liable under these terms.
Consolidated Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: To cancel or reschedule a service, we require at least 48 hours’ notice. This notice must be given by telephone. If a cancellation or rescheduling request is received less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled service time, a cancellation fee of $100 (inclusive of GST) will be charged. This fee also applies if our team is unable to access your property at the scheduled time. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur and will do our best to accommodate your needs, but please be aware that last-minute changes can affect our scheduling and operations.
Consolidated Payment Terms
- Payment Terms:Payment is required immediately upon completion of the work. Customers should be prepared to pay the exact cash amount as change may not be available, or they can opt to pay by credit card. Alternatively, an invoice can be issued for payment via bank transfer, which should be settled within three days of service completion. Please be aware that any fees associated with credit card transactions or bank transfers are the responsibility of the customer. Our goal is to facilitate a smooth and efficient payment process while ensuring timely compensation for our services.
Complaints and Refunds
- Quality Issues: Please report any service quality issues within 24 hours.
- Resolution Attempts: We will inspect and try to rectify any valid complaints.
- Refunds: Full refunds are available if issues cannot be resolved.
Accessibility and Safety
- Client’s Role: You are responsible for ensuring we have full access to work areas and maintaining safety.
- Window Access Issues: We cannot service windows if access is hindered due to installation issues unless rectified by you.
Weather Considerations
- Weather-Related Delays: We may reschedule or pause work due to poor weather, but light rain usually does not affect our ability to work.
Health and Safety
- Safety on Your Property: You are responsible for ensuring your property is safe for our services.
- Contractor’s Safety Standards: We maintain high safety standards and provide necessary equipment.
- Insurance: We have current Workers Compensation insurance and can provide proof upon request.
Warranty and Liability
- Service Warranty: Our services and products are guaranteed to be fit for their intended purpose.
- Liability Limitations: We limit our liability for indirect losses or damages as legally permissible.
- Commercial Liability Limit: For non-personal use, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or covering re-supply costs.
Legal Jurisdiction
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by Queensland law and subject to its courts’ jurisdiction.
Force Majeure
- Exemption for Uncontrollable Events: Neither party is liable for breaches due to events like natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances.
